Anne McKissick

Director, Grants Management and Information Services

  • Anne McKissick is the Director, Grants Management & Information Systems at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. In her position as Director of Grants Management, she leads a team responsible for all aspects of the Foundation’s grant administration including budgeting, compliance, reporting, and grant systems design and implementation. In her position as Director of Information Systems, Anne manages the Foundation’s I.T. team and works to design and implement systems that meet the informational needs of the Foundation.

    Prior to joining the Sloan Foundation in 2008, Anne worked for 17 years at the Carnegie Corporation of New York, where she filled a variety of roles in I.T. and grants administration.

    Anne received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music from Midwestern State University and served as an Assistant Professor there from 1982-1984. She also studied graduate level musicology at the University of North Texas. A former opera singer, she is a devoted lover of Mozart and Verdi.
