Rachel Anderson

Program Associate

  • Rachel joined the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation in September 2022 as the Program Associate for its program in Economics. Her responsibilities include developing, evaluating, and managing grant proposals in Economic Institutions, Behavior, & Performance program. She also reviews and improves the empirical methods proposed by prospective grantees in other programs.

    Rachel earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University, where she wrote her dissertation on topics in econometrics and energy economics. She also holds a Master’s degree from the Barcelona School of Economics and a B.S. in Economics and Computer Science from Duke University.
