Shriya Bhindwale joined the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation in January of 2022 as a Program Associate for Science and the Arts supporting Doron Weber in the Public Understanding of Science and Technology program.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Shriya was a legal assistant at the National Center for Lesbian Rights in San Francisco, California, where she focused on impact litigation and legislative advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized groups.

Shriya earned a B.S. degree in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara.
